The Big Ask
Discovery Channel Asia needed a robust digital presence to promote the launch of their new documentary Frontier Sumatra, which highlights Restorasi Ekosistem Riau (RER), a conservation initiative in Sumatra. They tasked us with creating a microsite and executing a digital and social media campaign to generate awareness and drive viewership.
Rethinking the Approach
To bring Sumatra’s forests closer to home, we deployed contests and interactive content across its microsite and social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. This helped us to reach a wider audience, fostering greater awareness for the documentary and RER’s inspiring conservation project.
Achieving the Extraordinary
By galvanising the community for a meaningful cause, our interactive digital campaign yielded results in just four months, sparking increased engagement among online viewers.
